Founder's Day with pre-concert talk | Dedicated to the people of Ukraine
Every year the School honours its founder Yehudi Menuhin with a musical event. This year we are bringing together staff, alumni, and current students for a special concert. The programme will include Fauré: La bonne chanson performed by special guest Mary Bevan with Ashley Wass and a quartet of students, as well as Brahms’ great Sextet in G Major, led by Boris Kucharsky with four students and staff member Una Cho. Ning Kam and Akiko Ono, the veteran first prize winners of the Menuhin Competition, will be performing the Mozart Duo for violin and viola K.423. | We are dedicating this year's Founder's Day concert to the people of Ukraine with Ukrainian members of our School community performing alongside our pupils and staff. There will be a retiring collection for the Disasters Emergency Committee, with options to donate in cash, via card or via mobile phone. | The concert will be preceded by a talk at 6pm (included with the ticket) with Boris Kucharsky, who will share his memories of studying and working with Yehudi Menuhin.
