Harry the Piano
Lauded by Classic FM as one of the world’s great improvisors, Harry’s extraordinary talent has taken him worldwide with solo cabaret shows in the Albert Hall, the Moulin Rouge, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and the Manasterly Palace, Cairo, among many others. He has given private audiences to HM the Queen at Sandringham and The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace, and has headlined festivals worldwide from Barbados to Adelaide. Pianist and band-leader on Channel 4’s Big Breakfast for five years, Harry went on to be musical director on primetime BBC television shows for three years, and is currently a regular on The Now Show on Radio 4, Friday Night is Music Night on Radio 2 and the go-to improvisor for In Tune on Radio 3. His ability to play any tune in any style on request has led to over 3 million hits on YouTube and appearances with everyone from David Bowie to Rod Steward, and Andrea Bocelli to Alfie Boe. He is currently musical director for Alexander Armstrong, running his nine-piece band.
