The Endellion String Quartet
The Endellion String Quartet was formed in 1979, and now includes past pupils Andrew Watkinson, Ralph de Souza and Garfield Jackson. The Quartet returns to the School to offer a programme which includes Britten's 3rd and last string quartet. The last completed major work before Britten's death in 1973, the work was dedicated to musicologist and teacher Hans Keller, a close friend of Britten who taught chamber music at The Yehudi Menuhin School between 1981 and 1985. Tickets for this concert are available to Young Friends at £5 each (maximum 2 tickets per Young Friend)
