Summer Festival: Orchestral Picnic

Opening the Festival with a dramatic start, The Menuhin School Junior Orchestra will perform Haydn's Fire Symphony followed by a performance of Chausson's mighty Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, with one of our final year pupils and Director of Music Ashley Wass taking on the titular roles. Continuing the season's theme of The Elements, the second half will comprise Max Richter's Four Seasons Recomposed, showcasing four soloists and The Menuhin School Senior Orchestra in this extraordinarily moving homage to Vivaldi's much-loved originals.
