Recordings

The Menuhin Hall is renowned for its outstanding acoustics and ideal recording facilities, with level access for equipment delivery and excellent direct access from the backstage Green Rooms to the stage via cable ducts.

The Hall is available for dry-hire for the production of commercial recordings by professional or amateur performers. Organisations that have recorded here over the years include Decca, NMC, ABRSM, Classical Recording Company, EMI, Abbey Road Outside Recording, BBC and Young Pianist Foundation, with many hirers returning on a regular basis.
